|
| How
Does she do it? |
|
First,
She Listen
Each
client’s needs and goals are unique to their own
situation. While a local restaurant may need to impact
potential customers within a three-mile radius, a major
retail with 40 area locations may require exposure throughout
an entire metropolitan community. My first step is to
listen … and really understand … what my
client needs to accomplish. Once
I truly understand their objectives, I can then employ
the appropriate strategic plan to accomplish those goals.
|
|

|
|
| Then,
She Respond |
|
With
the client’s ultimate goals constantly in mind,
she create a communication plan designed - exclusively
- to accomplish those goals. An upcoming sports or entertainment
event may require advertising, cross-promotions and
publicity to raise awareness and sell tickets, while
the local branch of a national charity may wish to rely
on special events and media coverage to spread their
message. Once she identifies and understands the desired
end-result of her efforts, she employs the appropriate
strategic element or elements to achieve those ends.
Such elements often include media relations, promotions,
advertising/media trades, special event management,
marketing even grass-roots community activities. As
the widely acknowledged Washington, D.C. Urban Special
Events Consultant (a.k.a., Black Widow Entertainment
in conjunction with Madness Entertainment and Raging
Boxing Promotions), She pride herself on creating events,
activities and programs that capture the interest, attention
and response of the media, covering newspapers, magazines,
wire services, news bureaus, radio, television and Internet
media. She is a female veteran owned and DMS/OSD Certified.
|
| Finally,
She Implement |
| Once
she has a plan in place, she goes to work. Employing a
hands-on, fully interactive approach, she rolls up her
sleeves and get to work. Acting as the agency principle
and president serving as account supervisor on every project,
in conjunction with CNI Alta Media, and my network team
of 2 public relations professionals who does whatever
it takes to accomplish our client’s pre-determined
communication goals. If that means getting up at 4:30
to greet morning television crews, that’s what we
do. If it takes hammering in stakes and posting logo banners,
we’re right there. If it means calling weekend assignment
editors on a Saturday morning or a Sunday evening, I can
do it. The media never sleeps. Quite often, I don’t
either! |
